Coppenhall Club Twisted The Night Away To Cris Quammie’s Soul Sensation
Cris Quammie’s Soul Sensation were an absolute hit down at our club on the evening of 10th March.
Entertaining our customers is never too much for these four amazingly talented men, their enthusiasm for soul music just flows from them as soon as they walk onto the stage, the atmosphere they create whilst performing at their show is phenomenal.
They don’t just sound great, they also look great too.
They looked stunning and really set the Soul scene in their dapper evening wear.
The lads started their set with tracks by the Temptations, The Drifters, Sam & Dave and many more…..
Their show consists of music from the 60’s and up to present day, intermingling with a superb choice of songs.
These were very cleverly mixed with newer songs to tingle the most modern of ears.
Set one set the mood straight away with:
- Up On The Roof – The Drifters
- My Girl – The Temptations
- It Wasn’t Me – Shaggy
- Red Red Wine – UB40
Set two commenced and this really blew the socks off us all with:
- The First, The Last, My Everything – Barry White
- Sittin’ In The Back Row Of The Movies – The Drifters
- Sugar Pie (Honey Bunch) – The Four Tops
- Uptown Funk – Bruno Mars
The last song to finish was I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas, their cover of this put us all in awe, people of all ages could not help themselves and the dancefloor was absolutely rocking with people of all ages having to dance away to this one.
All in all we hope you agree with us that this was a truly amazing show and if you ever get the chance to see Cris Quammie’s Soul Sensation in your area, you really do need to make the effort to attend.
Providing enjoyment is never too much for the Soul Sensation, they certainly know how to make the crowd feel like they are the first, the last and the groups everything during their brilliant show.
Thank you for a sensational evening Cris, Nigel, Collins & Malachi, we loved it from start to finish and it is certainly one night to be remembered in the club’s history.

Cris gave us a tiny clue on who he will be appearing as, we hope we have guessed correctly so we will be watching to find out if we were right.
